With Whom Does God Dwell?

"For thus says the high and exalted One who lives forever, whose name is Holy, I dwell on a high and holy place, And Also with the contrite and lowly of spirit in order to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite" (Isaiah57:15). God who is Supreme, Majestic, Holy, Transcendent, and Sovereign takes up residence in the Most loft and holy place. He is ABSOLUTELY distinct from fallen man. Yet Amazingly, the text reminds us that He ALSO takes up residence/hangs out with the HUMBLE so He can encourage them, "revive" them. How cool is that? The One who is Exalted is pleased to hang out with those who are lowly. One key to know the powerful presence of Almighty God in our lives is to walk Humbly--unassuming, not demanding, accepting of what God brings, gracious, kind, sensitive, generous. Lord, you are opposed to the proud and dwell with and give grace to the Humble so teach me the way of Humility.
