The Lord Longs to be Gracious to us.

"Therefore the Lord longs to be gracious to you, and therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; How blessed are all those who long for Him" (Is.30:18). In spite of our rebellion, God longs to graciously forgive and give to us if only we will repent and turn to Him (30:15). That's why those who long for Him are blessed. But should we persist in our rebellion we will experience His justice.
